Creating art is something that fuels my soul and fills my heart.

Photography has long been a passion of mine, and I am rarely out without my camera (or at minimum my phone camera) on hand. I can't always explain why I choose to capture what I do. Sometimes, something just catches my eye or draws me in that moment to capture it.

A limited quantity of 8x10 prints are available and ready to enjoy. If you wish a different size print that can be arranged for you. All photographs in the clinic are available for print as well, just let me know if there is one you would love to take home.

This spectacular photo was taken on a family trip to Vancouver Island this summer. I knew I had to go find this amazing, almost 1500 year old tree ... even if it meant taking a water taxi to Meares Island BC off the coast of Tofino.

Lavender Dreams

Lavender has always been my favourite flower to grow and use, as well as one of my favourite essential oils. This photograph was taken on a trip with my family to our local lavender farm a couple of summers ago. I can still hear the bees buzzing and feel the warm sweet breeze on my face. If only this photograph were scratch and sniff!

Going to the mountains is like going home for me. It is where I feel total peace and calm, where I can take a deep breath, where I itch to get out into nature, and where I can literally capture hundreds of photographs in one day. This was taken on a family trip to Banff a couple of years ago when we were out west visiting my sister for Christmas. Looking at this photo always brings me back to standing bundled up in our winter gear at the summit gazing in awe at the view.

This photograph was captured in December 2020 from my home in Peterborough. When we realized how much you could see I started to show my kids all of the landmarks, ocean beds, and craters that are hard to pick out when just gazing up at the moon. I knew in that moment that I wanted to create a photograph landmark map to show others the amazing landscape of the moon.
