This meditation is one that I have fallen in love with!
Here are a couple of different ways you can practice it:
  1. Put your focus and attention on forgiveness and reconciliation with a younger version of yourself - I'm sorry for not supporting you the way you needed ... I'm sorry for not helping you to speak up ... I'm sorry for not having your back ... etc - and remember that it could be you from 30 years ago or the you from yesterday.
  2. OR ... Put your focus and attention on forgiveness and reconciliation for a hurt that you have caused someone - I'm sorry my words hurt you ... I'm sorry that what I did caused you distress ... I'm sorry for not hearing you ... etc - just make sure that what you bring to mind is actually yours to own and apologize for.

Grounding Meditation

We all need a little grounding to reconnect with Mother Earth and her powerful energy to replenish and bring us back into the present. I find grounding particularly helpful when my anxiety is running amuck and I am all up in my head ... grounding brings me back to earth so to speak. This is a beautiful practice that can be made more powerful when practiced outdoors with your feet bare in the soft summer grass - but have no fear it is easily practiced indoors during the not so nice months, you just require a little more imagination. PS the research on the benefits of grounding is amazing! ​Enjoy & Namaste
